APCC 2016 – Joe Dempsie Thinks Gendry is a Perfect Stark in Game of Thrones

Continuing our coverage for Asiapop Comicon 2016 or APCC 2016, we take a look at another high-profile guest this year, Joe Dempsie aka Gendry from HBO’s Game of Thrones.

Joe Dempsie made a great impact during his media one-on-one on Asiapop Comicon 2016. The Game of Thrones actor looked like a young Peter Baelish aka Little Finger. We even think that he would be perfect for the role if they ever opt to do a Game of Thrones prequel movie featuring Robert’s War.

Speaking of Game of Thrones, Dempsie confirmed that he does indeed miss the set and the cast particularly actress Gwendoline Christie.

When asked on which house his character would fit perfectly in, Dempsie says that he wants Gendry to be one of the Starks.

On expounding the idea, he says that Gendry was very serious and honorable and follows a certain code; something that the Starks of Winterfell are known for. It’s also what got most of them killed all throughout the HBO series.

Surviving, is something that Gendry knows and that’s what he’s proud of. He even laughed when he was informed that people in Manila joked that Gendry kept rowing all the way to Manila.

Joe Dempsie will be seen next in the film “Game Changer” starring opposite Daniel Radcliffe and telling the story of the creation of the hit game “Grand Theft Auto”
