Joey King Cast as Magenta for The Flash Season 3

While we’re all excited for how The Flash season 3 would treat the story Flashpoint, we are left to wonder will there still be a villain for the week and the answer is YES.

Actress Joey King has been added to the series as the character Magenta. The only movie King appeared in that I recall was Roland Emmerich’s White House Down where she played the daughter of Channing Tatum’s character.

But a quick check shows that she was also in Independence Day Resurgence as well as the TV version of Fargo.

The character was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez during their run in New Teen Titans. She was also seen in the books as a friend of Wally West.

She had powers that makes her manipulate metal and is also based on her mood.

I wonder now if they will be doing an updated look for the character because it needs a revamp.

Also note that since this is a different timeline from the first two seasons, things will completely change here and probably in the other seasons. We can definitely see a new Rogues Gallery here, the one built around Wally West’s enemies especially during Mark Waid’s epic run on the book.

And guess what, we still don’t have Mirror Master.
