PREVIEW: SH Figuarts Takeshi Hongo and SH Figuarts Kamen Rider Black Luminous Edition

Today for our toy preview, we give you a look at not one but two SH Figuarts releases. We’re talking about the SH Figuarts Takeshi Hongo and SH Figuarts Kamen Rider Black Luminous Edition.

So for starters, lets do a quick look at the Kamen Rider figure:

According to our pal from Orends: Range, the figure is pretty much the same as the earlier release of KR Black or more popularly known here in the Philippines as Masked Rider Black. The only difference between this new release and the previous one is the addition of a light up function.

That and a new set and a new stand that comes along with the package.

Now let’s take a look at the SH Figuarts Takeshi Hongo…

This one totally floored me. I’m a late bloomer when it comes to Kamen Rider stuff and I’m currently getting into Kamen Rider 1 lore. I know for a fact that I enjoyed Kamen Rider 1 & Kamen Rider 2’s appearance in the Kamen Rider Drive movie (which also featured Kamen Rider Black).

Plus there’s also the movie he appeared in together with Kamen Rider Ghost (in bulked up form no less)

Release dates for both SH Figuarts figures have yet to be revealed. Stay tuned though as we’ll be posting more info when its revealed.
