X-Men’s Lucas Till is the New MacGyver
The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Lucas Till (X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Apocalypse) has been cast as the new MacGyver for CBS.
Till takes over from Richard Dean Anderson who played the original MacGyver. Joining Till in this new series is Joshua Boone who will play MacGyver’s bestfriend from high school.
There’s just so much nostalgia for this series. We’re hoping that they get all the elements right. And please don’t forget the swiss knife.
Oh and if you’re wondering whatever happened to the original, then here’s a webisode featuring Angus MacGyver and his daughter.
CBS’ MacGyver is described as a reimagining of the television series of the same name. It follows a 20-something MacGyver (Till) as he gets recruited into a clandestine organization where he uses his knack for solving problems in unconventional ways to help prevent disasters from happening.
