You’ll Hate Zack Snyder and BvS When You Find Out What Jena Malone’s Role Was

You’ll definitely hate Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Zack Snyder after finding out who Jena Malone was supposed to play in the movie.

The Mary Sue reveals a survey form which was shared on Reddit listing the current roster of the plus Malone.

Yeah, nobody informed Marketing that they already edited Malone from the final cut of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Check out a copy of the form below and after the cut.

So it appears that Jena Malone was supposed to play the role of Barbara Gordon aka Batgirl aka Oracle.

Batgirl’s dad is Commissioner Gordon, who was recently cast as former Spider-Man supporting actor, J.K. Simmons. Simmons is a go for Justice League although Malone’s Barbara Gordon is still up in the air in terms of appearance.

Zack Snyder has been quoted saying that Malone is not playing Robin or Batgirl… which is true in some way. What we don’t know at the moment is what phase of Barbara’s life did Batman v Superman occur. Was this the time before she becomes Batgirl or does it happen after her stint as Batgirl.

Don’t worry though as there will be an R-Rated, extended version of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice so hopefully we get to see her in that version.
