Philippines Makes History: Season 16 Playoffs set for first-ever arena stage at Cuneta Astrodome, tickets are now on sale!

A new era of Philippine esports begins as the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) Season 16 Playoffs heads to the iconic Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City from October 22 to 26, 2025.

For the first time, the Playoffs will be staged in an arena, with up to 2,000 fans expected to fill the historic venue per match day. This milestone not only marks the biggest playoffs venue in MPL PH history, but also cements the league’s legacy as it becomes the first professional mobile esports event to be hosted at the Astrodome, which was once hailed as the “Home of the PBA” and host to multiple traditional sports and cultural events.

A season to celebrate MLBB esports’ eras and legacy

MPL Philippines introduces the MPL Festival Superfan City, a cultural showcase that gathers the MLBB esports and gaming communities to celebrate the eras and legacy of MPL Philippines. From October 22 to 26, 2025, the MLBB esports and gaming community can immerse themselves in this new on-ground festivity that is a 100% free walk-in event at the Cuneta Astrodome Open Space.

The event will feature cosplay showcases inspired by MLBB heroes, interactive sponsor booths with exciting giveaways, fan meet-and-greet sessions, live watch parties, and more immersive activities for the community. More details to be shared via official MPL Philippines pages.

The celebration continues with the Community Parade, uniting fans in a march from Superfan City into the MPL Arena, and the return of the Infinix Fansiklaban Cup, where fans battle in a 5v5 mini-tournament to represent their favorite MPL teams.
