Netflix Devil May Cry Season 2 officially announced

Devil May Cry producer Adi Shankar went to social media to announce Devil May Cry season 2 which will be coming soon to the streaming platform.

The announcement came a week after the release of the anime series’ first season which also writes: “When a mysterious villain threatens to open the gates of Hell, a devilishly handsome demon hunter could be the world’s best hope for salvation.”

Dante is voiced by Power Rangers and Bleach voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch. It’s also interesting to note that Bosch also voiced Nero in the Devil May Cry games. who voiced Nero in the video games. Reuben Langdon voiced Dante in the video games.

And it’s only justified that we get a second season because the 8 episode first season ended with a big cliffhanger which did not end well for our hero Dante and the denizens of “hell”. What we do know that Dante’s twin brother Vergil who also made his official appearance in the season finale.
