Batman will be facing alternate reality versions of Robins turned Batmen in a series titled Knightfight.

One of the main ideas for the book which will tie-in to the upcoming DC Comics event book DC K.O. which is a gladiatorial story where characters enter a tournament with the goal of becoming the new King Omega, an entity powered with Omega energy and one that can rival Darkseid who has already become so powerful after the events of DC All In and the start of Justice League Unlimited. In Knightfight, Batman is sent to alternate futures where he has to fight other Batmen who also happen to be grown up versions of Robin.
“One of Batman’s biggest fears is, what will happen to his children?” says Williamson. It’s Batman up against the Robins… but the versions of those Robins IF they became Batman. “It’s Batman/Jason Todd, Batman/Damian, Batman/Dick.”
Think of what happened to Dick Grayson during the Batman RIP era when he stepped up and took over the role of Batman together with Damian Wayne as his Robin.

Knightfight Batman
According to the DC Comics panel, the concept behind Knightfight has already been pinned on their wall for a long time. According to Batman writer Tom King, the idea was already pitched where the Bat-Family fight each other for a tournament during a creative retreat years ago which also included creators like Scott Snyder, Becky Cloonan, and James Tynion.
Expect Batman’s Knightfight book coming to stores November with writer Joshua Williamson and artist Dan Mora!
