Live-Action Pinocchio teaser trailer

Walt Disney Studios has released the live-action Pinocchio teaser trailer! Tom Hanks, Joseph Gordon Levitt and more star in the upcoming remake of the Disney version of the film.

Here’s the kicker, the film will not have a theatrical release but would rather go straight to Disney+, Walt Disney Studios’ streaming platform which also features a number of IPs ranging from Marvel and Star Wars.

Pinocchio will be directed by Robert Zemeckis and stars:

• Tom Hanks as Geppetto
• Benjami Evan Ainsworth as Pinocchio
• Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Jiminy Cricker
• Cynthia Erivo as Blue Fairy
• Keegan Michael Key as “Honest” John Foulfellow
• Lorraine Bracco as Sofia the Segull
• Luke Evans as Coachman

My biggest question now is whether they will be singing songs just like in the OG animated film. Would love to see an updated take on this classic jam.

That or have James Spader reprise his role of Ultron to do a full version…
