ABS-CBN releases official statement about Susan Roces’ passing

ABS-CBN has released their official statement regarding the passing of the Queen of Philippine cinema, Susan Roces’ passing.

It reads:

The ABS-CBN family and the entire cast and crew of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” led by Coco Martin deeply mourn the passing of legendary actress Ms. Susan Roces. We extend our deepest sympathies to Sen. Grace Poe and her family.

For many years, she has instilled the values of love, faith, and hope with her loving portrayal of Lola Flora in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.” 

Tita Susan was an exemplary icon, who was a source of inspiration and strength as she served the Filipino people. 

We will continue to honor her legacy as the Queen of Philippine Movies and as one of the beloved pillars of the entertainment industry. 

Hindi ka namin malilimutan, Tita Susan. Maraming salamat at paalam, aming mahal na Kapamilya.

She has been a long running character in ABS-CBN’s “Ang Probinsyano” series where she played Lola Flora, the grandmother of Coco Martin’s character Cardo Dalisay.
