Hayden Christensen returning as Anakin Skywalker for Ahsoka Tano series “Ahsoka”
The Hollywood Reporter recently posted that Hayden Christensen returning as Anakin Skywalker for the Ahsoka Tano series; a role that he played years ago with the last being Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
We really don’t have much to go by for the upcoming TV series but we know that Dave Filoni will be back to oversee the project. Filoni was also one of head honchos who did The Clone Wars TV series where we also got introduced to Ahsoka, who at the time was Anakin Skywalker’s padawan. Filonis is reportedly writing the plot and Jon Favreau will be serving as the executive producer for Lucasfilm and coming to Disney+.
One interesting thing that we need to look forward is where in the Star Wars timeline the series will take place. Nobody has told anything about the project unlike The Mandalorian which was set five years after the climatic event of Return of the Jedi.
Speaking of The Mandalorian, we have to thank that series for bringing Ahsoka back to life in live action. In the series, Ahsoka teamed up with Din Djarin aka The Mandalorian as the latter was looking for a Jedi to help him deal with his “son” or ward, baby Yoda aka Grogu.
