Many boxing fans were thinking that the older Donaire would not make the cut against his hungrier and younger opponent but they were all silenced when the bell rang in Carson, California. Oubaali was saved by the bell from heavy beating by the end of the third round which includes a beautiful combination of a left hook and an uppercut.

Round 4 proved to be the dealbreaker when Donaire finally took down Oubaali at around 1:52 of the aforementioned round.

As it stands proudly Pinoy Donaire has a 41 win and 6 Losses record with 27 wins by KO. Meanwhile this would be Nordine Oubaali’s first professional loss after 17 wins.
