Is this what Mahershala Ali as Blade would look like?
A new concept artwork was recently spotted showing Mahershala Ali as Blade for the Marvel Studios reboot of Blade the Vampire Hunter.
The artwork also has the Disney logo on it as well as the D23 Expo logo at the bottom right and left.
The Mahershala Ali as Blade concept art also features the classic look from the past Blade movie which starred Wesley Snipes as the Daywalker.
I’m just wondering why he has three swords rather than two. Blade in the comics, especially the current version who is part of the Avengers brandishes only one. Even the Snipes version had one. Maybe this could be a fake though. I still thought it was good enough to share.
Here’s the video segment where Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige brought out Ali and announced to the audience that he would be the new Blade for an upcoming reboot.
