Tom Holland shows range, PTSD and addiction in first Cherry trailer
People are raving at Tom Holland’s performance as early as now thanks to the Cherry trailer which was released earlier today. The film is directed by Avengers: Endgame directors the Russo Brothers and coming to AppleTV!
Cherry is an upcoming American crime drama film directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Angela Russo-Otstot and Jessica Goldberg, based on the novel of the same name by Nico Walker. The film stars Tom Holland and Ciara Bravo.
“It’s a story about the opioid crisis that involves the Iraq war, PTSD, heroin addiction, Oxycontin addiction, bank robbing,” Anthony Russo said. “It’s a very intense film and Tom Holland is absolutely bringing it every day. We’re so impressed with his performance in this movie. It will be a very intense film.”
