Winter is Coming in the DC Universe with Endless Winter Event set for December

DC Comics has started showing teasers for their next event book or crossover book called Endless Winter which sees a “return of a classic villain, long thought dead” and seeking revenge against the world, including the Justice League.

So far there are three images that DC has released to hype up the project. The teaser image for the title which you can see above and two images featuring Justice League members in their “cold gear”.

… as well as Wonder Woman…

So while its not yet revealed who or what Endless Winter is at the moment, there’s a character called Endless Winter who first appeared in 1940’s by the creators of Superman himself, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The character appeared as early as Action Comics # 20 and later in books like the controversial Justice League: Cry for Justice.
