Hulkling and Wiccan getting officially married in Avengers: Empyre Aftermath # 1

It looks like former Young Avengers members Hulkling and Wiccan are officially getting hitched and celebrating their married in Avengers: Empyre Aftermath # 1.

So they have been a long time couple in the Marvel Universe and have really shown how much they care for each other and its just about time they get hitched. They are after all, no longer teenagers too. Plus who would want to challenge Hulkling aka Teddy Altman aka the emperor of the combined Skrull and Kree empire.

Check out the promotional visual Marvel has released which will be written by Empyre’s co-writer Al Ewing and artist Valerio Schiti.

No word yet on whether Hulking’s parents (one of which is the original Captain Marvel) and Wiccan’s parents (who are Avengers mainstays Vision and Scarlet Witch) would make an appearance but that would certainly be something nice to look forward to this September when the book gets released.

It’s also nice to see the members of the defunct superhero team in the forefront. We’re seeing Patriot, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Stature (Ant-Man’s daughter Cassie Lang) and Wiccan’s brother Tommy aka Speed.
