Angel Locsin Reacts on Jane De Leon’s Reaction on Speaking Up about ABS-CBN Shutdown
It’s Darna vs Darna with Angel Locsin reacting to a recent statement by the new Darna Jane De Leon on social media over the latter’s call for celebrities to speak up about the ABS-CBN shutdown.
Angel Locsin posted a text on her Instagram story that while she agrees that a person “doesn’t need to go out to lend her voice to the voiceless, one should not try to save one’s reputation by discrediting the efforts of those who chose to go out to rally for their rights.”
She also adds:
But making up an excuse to save face at the expense of those who are fighting for their lives is purely disgusting
In case you missed it, Jane De Leon posted her own thoughts and reasons for not joining the rally in front of the ABS-CBN compound. She meant well but apparently it did not rub well with Kapamilya supporters.
And yes, this is definitely a Darna vs Darna scenario.
