Superman Returns star Brandon Routh promotes wearing mask
Superman Returns star Brandon Routh posted something on his Twitter account about the use of facial masks when going out.
Here’s what he wrote:
I don’t always play a superhero, but when I do… I care about those around me & if there was the slightest chance I could spread a highly contagious deadly virus to my loved ones/strangers without my awareness, I’d wear a mask.
Protecting fellow citizens honors the #AmericanWay. https://t.co/tWp8VKayy4
This would be the Superman who spoke out about the use of masks when going out in public. The first one was Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman star Dean Cain who got negative feedback from his post about not wanting to use a mask when travelling or going out.
COVID-19 infection in the US has grown significantly with more and more people going out of their homes amidst pleas to stay home and practice social distancing.
You can still catch Routh in previous seasons of Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow where he played the role of Ray Palmer aka The Atom. Currently though, he already left the CW series for other potential projects.
