Godzilla vs Kong Release Date moved to May 2021
It looks like the upcoming Godzilla vs Kong release date has been effectively moved completely next year.
The film was supposed to be released this year but it looks like the film directed by Adam Wingard. It was supposed to be release November 2020 but thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, that has been effectively pushed a few months down the line.
The new Gozilla vs Kong release date would be taking over the original slot for Matrix 4. The fourth Matrix movie starring Keanu Reeves will be moving to April 1, 2022.
This will be the third outing of Godzilla under the Legendary MonsterVerse shared universe and the second for King Kong. Godzilla first appeared in 2014’s Godzilla and then in the sequel Godzilla: King of the Monsters in 2019. Kong appeared in 2017’s Kong: Skull Island on the other hand.
The upcoming film stars: Van Marten (Avengers: Infinity War), Ziyi Zhang (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2), Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Danai Gurira (Black Panther), Alexander Skarsgård (True Blood, The Legend of Tarzan), Rebecca Hall (Iron Man 3, The Prestige), Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist, Game of Thrones), and Shun Oguri (Crows Zero, Hana Yori Dango).
