Sekiro Shadows Die Twice Wins The Game Awards’ Game of the Year
Today marks a great day for gamers as usual with The Game Awards making noise and kicking ass. But the most important bit about TGA this year is Game of the Year award and it picks Sekiro Shadows Die Twice the clear cut winner.
The game was produced by Fromsoft and published by Activision. The game takes place in a fictionalised, magical version of the Sengoku period in Japan, and follows a shinobi known as Wolf as he attempts to take revenge on a samurai clan who attacked him and kidnapped his lord. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on 22 March 2019.
And if you are curious as to how much the game sold ever since it was released, reports say that by August 2019, it had already sold 3.8 million copies worldwide. So what do you guys think of this Sekiro win? Who would you have picked for game of the year? Would you have picked Death Stranding? Resident Evil 2 remake? Smash Brothers Ultimate?
