Monster Minions are invading SM Supermalls for Halloween 2019

SM Prime Holdings, proprietor of the SM Supermalls and Universal Brand Development (UBD) will kick off a first-ever Halloween event led by Illumination’s Minions in the Philippines starting October 18 to November 3. This year’s theme is dubbed “Monstacular Fun with Minions” and focuses on the mash-up between Universal’s classic monsters with the minions from “Despicable Me”.

Aside from the mash-up, kids and adults alike can also find plenty of classic Minions from the Despicable Me franchise over two epic weekends of Halloween Celebration at the SM Supermalls.

This “activation” will transform Bob, Kevin and Stuart into twisted Halloween nightmare versions of themselves. Bob is “FrankenBob”, while Stuart is “Mummy Stuart” and Kevin is “Bride Kevin”. SM Supermalls, well-known for its passion to create an immersive shopping experience filled with family moments for everyone, will adorn 37 mall atriums with Minion Monsters themed merchandise, activities and photo opportunities to celebrate Halloween 2019.

UBD and SM Supermalls will also prepare fun and spooky games and activities such as DIY workshops that will teach guests how to create Minions-themed Halloween costumes that are exclusive to SM North EDSA and SM Fairview.
