Creepy Posters, TV Spots Arrive for “A Quiet Place”
Paramount Pictures has ramped up the buzz for its modern horror thriller A Quiet Place, directed by John Krasinski and starring Emily Blunt, with the reveal of its two new posters and two new spots.
Check out the one-sheets below and the spots at https://youtu.be/vdu0zVZOF7o and https://youtu.be/Fz5FHhDWCHQ.
In the modern horror thriller A Quiet Place, a family of four must navigate their lives in silence after mysterious creatures that hunt by sound threaten their survival. If they hear you, they hunt you.
With A Quiet Place, Krasinski’s aim is to keep the audience actively submersed in the center of this quiet world that can suddenly explode with discord and horror at any moment.
He says: “I want the audience to be asking the whole way: What would I do in this situation? How would I stay quiet? What would I do to make sure my family makes it through?”
“I hope the movie provides a thrilling, frightening experience but also one that shows you the strength of a family,” Krasinski concludes. “The family have only each other to rely on and there is nowhere else to go, nowhere they can escape. They have to stay on their family farm and learn how to survive together. In that sense, it is their love for each other, their understanding of each other, that becomes their greatest power and how they might find a chance to live another day.”
*In Philippine cinemas April 11, A Quiet Place is distributed in the Philippines by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.
