The Manny Pacquiao Traffic Effect Then and Now
So there’s a Manny Pacquiao match today against Timothy Bradley today and it looks like things have changed.
Before his controversial statement some time ago, a Pacman fight would turn Metro Manila streets into a desolate wasteland with few cars here and there…
Not to mention, the drop in crime rate all over the Philippines.
For the #PacmanBradley fight today however, things have changed. People don’t seem to care much. Here’s a scene in EDSA around the time of the main event fight in the US.
And another one nearing SM Megamall…
To be honest, I feel sad for the guy. It was a “katay” video which was apparently taken out of context and blown out of proportion. It seemed indifferent and very mean. But you gotta hand it to the guy, he takes the criticism and heckling like a champ. He has my respect on that end, but not when it comes to his political ambitions and his views on some societal issues.
Anyway, congratulations are still in order for his win against Timothy Bradley.
