Crossbone Gundam X1 FC Will be Joining MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2
Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia is pleased to announce today that Crossbone Gundam X1 FC from Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam Steel 7 will be joining MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2’s roster for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4 and PC via Steam®. Crossbone Gundam X1 FC, the fully armored pirate MS, will be introduced from 1:00 PM on Thursday, 1 January 2026, as a ★★★★★ ground/space unit, available at a Cost of 750. This represents the fourth Crossbone Gundam MS to appear in MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2, following Crossbone Gundam X1 Kai, Crossbone Gundam X2 Kai, and Crossbone Gundam X3.

To commemorate the celebration of the New Year and the addition of Crossbone Gundam X1 FC to the roster, the ‘Happy New Year 2026’ event for online-only PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4 will begin on 1:00 PM, Thursday, 1 January 2026.
During the event, players will be able to participate in the “New Year’s Gift: Free 10-Shot Gacha Special Lottery”, in which all items to be won are Mobile Suits, and every player is guaranteed to win two MS with a rating of ★★★ or higher. Additionally, the “New Year Lucky Dip STEP UP Lottery” will also be happening, where the guaranteed acquisition of a Lv. 1 MS released during 2025 with a rating of ★★★★ or higher is granted at STEP 4. Moreover, all participants will also be able to acquire the new custom part “Enhancement Program [Ranged Lv. 1]”.
In addition to the above, Guntank R-44 Lv. 1 is planned to be made available as a ★★★ support unit at a Cost of 550. To commemorate this new introduction, the “Guntank R-44-Guaranteed STEP UP Lottery” will be held, in which the Lv. 1 to Lv. 4 versions of Guntank R-44 will be guaranteed to be acquired in each step.
Weaponry from Lv. 2 and above will be added to the Recycling Window and will be available from the window at any time during the STEP UP Lottery period.
Lastly, during the event period, a “Daily Bonus Boost Campaign” will be staged, in which daily bonuses that inflate basic rewards, are increased in number from 3 times a day to 6 times a day, and the inflation rate is increased from 5 times to 7 times their usual levels.

It has been officially confirmed that Victory Gundam from Mobile Suit Victory Gundam will be added to the roster as a ★★★ unit with a Cost of 600, from the update slated for 1:00 PM on Thursday, 8 January 2026! Details of the MS’s specifications will be announced at release.
MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2 will move another step forward in the Universal Century and enter the Mobile Suit Victory Gundam age.
