Another fight that I actually wanted to see was whether or not Wonder Woman can take out Lobo and thanks to DC KO, we are finally getting this going. Although I am NOT a fan of how this panned out.
In the first round, Lobo gets the upper hand against Wonder Woman as they fight in a standard boxing ring where the two go toe-to-toe but in the end, Lobo wins after pummeling Diana badly.
Round 2 begins and we get to see some big changes to the two. Wonder Woman chooses a familiar form we’ve seen in the movies…
… meanwhile Lobo transforms into his New 52 version…
This round goes to Wonder Woman although there’s a twist here. Not only was the fight staged in Themisycra aka Paradise Island but also got paired up with a number of her sisters including Donna Troy, Wonder Girl Cassandra Sandsmark and Wonder Woman Yara Flor.
On the third round, they return to mano-a-mano and he kind of ticks off the powers-that-be that he’s unkillable and he won’t die.
So they turn off that aspect and Wonder Woman wins and moves to the next round.
