Shadow of Mordor Sequel Leaked; Will be called Shadow of War
The Lord of the Rings game Shadow of Mordor was a big hit and it won’t come as a surprise that they would be making a sequel. Lo and behold, we now have an actual sequel coming soon and its been leaked with the title Middle Earth: Shadow of War.
It wasn’t just a quick leak too, it was massive. As in we already have a look at the game’s cover for the Playstation 4…
That’s of course thanks to Target’s international website which was discovered by NeoGaf member DeathbyBacklog. Also here’s the product description from the same Target website:
“Go behind enemy lines to forge your army, conquer Fortresses, and dominate Mordor from within,” it reads. “Experience how the award-winning Nemesis System creates unique personal stories with every enemy and follower, and confront the full power of the Dark Lord Sauron and his Ringwraiths in this epic new story of Middle-earth.”
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War will also have a Gold Edition and it’ll be for order as well. It will include the following stuff:
- Slaughter Tribe Nemesis Expansion
- Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion
- The Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion
- The Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion
- Gold War Chest
- Over $125 in total value
It will also have this:
The two Nemesis expansions feature “a new Orc Tribe featuring new enemies, followers, missions, abilities, weapons, Fortress, and wilderness updates, and a Mythic Gear Set.” The story expansions, meanwhile, have “a new campaign, playable character, and abilities, side missions, enemies, allies, and more.”
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War will be available on August 22, 2017 for the Sony Playstation 4 and the Xbox One.
