Spider-Man: Homecoming star Laura Harrier calls out Shameik Moore for his posts linking them together
Spider-Man: Homecoming actress Laura Harrier called out Shameik Moore for his weird posts making them out as a couple.
Lets file this as weird behavior especially since the 34 year old Spidey actress who played Liz Allen in the film that starred Tom Holland as the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of Peter Parker is already engaged to somebody else. She even clarified that she and the 29 year old actor were never romantically involved. Moore was allegedly insinuating on social media that they were dating and that creeped her out and upset her.
In a recent post she wrote:
“I keep seeing all these videos that I am being tagged in with another actor and people speculating, what that is, it’s really annoying me because I’m literally engaged,” Laura started. “That’s important to me, and you know, I’m in Hollywood, I get it. People do PR stunts, whatever, people like to get attention.”
Harrier’s comments were a reaction after Moore posted on his X account a photo of them posing together and the actor who played Miles Morales in both Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and its sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse captioned the post “coming soon”. The actress then clarified that the photo was taken a year ago and was only done to accommodate someone who requested a photo of them together.
She also confirmed that she is happily engaged with creative consultant Sam Jarou;
“Not sure why you would post that now. And so I texted him, we’re not close, like I know him just from around,” Laura said. “And I texted him, ‘Hey, can you take this down? Not sure why you would post that. Also I’m literally getting married and I don’t like this insinuation that there is something going on between us if that was your intention.’”
“It’s still up, which is f–king weird,” she continued. “You’re a f–king weirdo. I’m sorry. You’re a f–king weirdo. And I’m f–king annoyed.”
“I just wanted to say something because I don’t like that,” Laura said, before adding that she “doesn’t like” her “marriage” or herself “being disrespected.”
She then went on to call out Shameik for using her “image to get attention with.”
After Laura shared the TikTok, Shameik has taken down the post and deleted his X account.
