New Images for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Check out these new images for the upcoming film Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and a whole lot more.

The film is directed by James Gunn and brings back the Guardians with new characters in tow. We also get some small costume changes and updates.

The film has Peter Quill/ Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Groot (Vin Diesel) together with new addition Mantis (Pom Klementieff). Other cast members returning for the sequel includes Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula and Kurt Russell as Ego the Living Planet.

Looks like Yondu will be getting an expanded role for this film. Could he be officially joining the Peter Quill’s team or is this an alliance of convenience between the Guardians and the Ravagers?

Mantis looks so adorable. We definitely need to see more of the new DnA characters from the book.
