Joe Manganiello as Sir Crocodile, Lera Abova as Nico Robin for One Piece Season 2

Netflix has dropped a new casting announcement for One Piece season 2 aka One Piece Live Action Season 2. The streaming brand has announced the casting of Joe Manganiello as Sir Crocodile as well as Lera Abova as Nico Robin.

Any One Piece fan would know the actual names of these characters but I guess Netflix needs to stick with the flow of how they were introduced in the long-running manga and anime series by Eiichiro Oda.

Both of these characters were introduced in the Alabasta arc with the Strawhat Pirates encountering these two at different points in time. Sir Crocodile was pulling the strings behind the civil war in Alabasta which prompts Monkey D. Luffy and his crew to team up with the princess Vivi Nefertari.

Robin was introduced as “Miss All Sunday” and was working with Crocodile before it’s revealed that she’s a very important person for the World Government.

So far, here’s the updated new casts for One Piece season 2.

I’m actually excited to see what Lera Abova would look like as Nico Robin. It has been confirmed that the live action series would send the crew to different parts of the world including Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (Twin Cape), Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island arcs from Eiichiro Oda’s original manga series.
