Marvel is introducing a new Venom host for All-New Venom #1 and it could be four of these characters

So it looks like Marvel’s not sure where to go with Venom after Venom War or maybe they are just biding their time for the next big thing for the symbiote and its host Eddie Brock and/or his son Dylan Brock so we will be getting the All New Venom # 1 this December with a brand new host.

The All New Venom book will be written by Al Ewing with art by Carlos Gomez and the pair promises that the new Venom host is somebody that readers are familiar with and not either Eddie or Dylan Brock.

Marvel Comics is keeping mum on the identity of the new Venom but have stated that readers can choose from four characters namely:

Luke Cage

Rick Jones

Rick Jones during his time as A-Bomb

Robbie Robertson

or Madame Masque.

We will also be getting a slightly redesigned Venom for this new volume with a Gold theme replacing the standard white color on the Venom spider insignia.

I don’t know about you but I feel like this is already a clue as to whether this could be Luke Cage as the new Venom host because the dude loves the color gold and/or the color yellow. But it could also be Madame Masque whose been running around the Marvel Universe for decades with her standard golden mask.

Additionally, Ewing has already revealed that the Brocks are still involved in this story he’s writing and developing with Dylan Brock helping out in investigating who is the new host for his and his dad’s symbiote costume. As for Eddie Brock, they are still keeping a lid of what happens to him by the end of Venom War which has already started a few weeks ago.

“If people have a strong hankering for something different from me, this is that. It’s almost more like a Spider-Man-level story,” Ewing explains. “It is set on Earth, very much in the normal New York City. Everywhere we go in the story is a place you could go, or at least the type of place you could go.”

All-New Venom #1 goes on sale in December with a cover by Adam Kubert, seen above.
