Guild of Guardians introduces two new heroes Jadey and Callisto and unlocks $500k Player Rewards

Guild of Guardians or GOG has recently announced the addition of two new characters to the ever-expanding roster of characters namely Jadey and Callisto.

Th limited time summon event will run from August 14 to August 28 and will give Guild of Guardians the chance to obtain the legendary guardian Jadey and the Epic Guardian Callisto to add to their teams as they continue the quest in the game.

Epic Guardian Callisto

Callisto is described as:

 

Callisto grew up an Imperial, trained from a young age to be a fearsome assassin. However, over time she began to distrust the orders and character of her superiors, and one night slipped away and sought sanctuary with the Keepers.

This new epic character utilizes the power of Hydris and has an assassin build with her main stat focusing on agility. Her skills include “Bilocation” where she disappears and creates 4 clones that will automatically attach each enemy once. These clones will prioritize enemies who have the Water Blade effect on them and will receive attacks that deal 130% ATK physical damage.

The second skill is called Water Blade and will automatically target the nearest enemy with a preference for enemies that have stronger intelligence. The skill will deal 150% of ATK as Physical Damage and reduce the inflicted opponent with reduce Crit % and Crit Damage by 20%. The Water Blade attack can be stacked and will last for 10 seconds.

The third attack is called “Lithe Figure” where any damage that exceeds 6% of Callisto’s max HP is additionally reduced by 30%.

 

Legendary Guardian Jadey

The legendary guardian Jadey is a support character who boasts of providing healing abilities that can help improve the performance of your squad during combat. Jadey is described as:

 

Jadey was born from the hearts of trees that wished to dream, to become flesh and wander the world. She is deeply tied to the ebbs and flows of nature and has emerged from her solitude to fight the Dread and protect her home.

Guild of Guardians’ game director Chris Clay has stated that having a dedicated healer in your team in the fight against The Dread is crucial and Jadey has that and more. Her powerful burst healing can help players in the hardest of battles and her crowd control abilities also means that she can be dependable in actual combat.

Jadey has four skills GOG gamers can utilize including:

 

• All Things Grow – Create a flower field with a radius of 5 meters under the most forward positioned ally that removes Curse continuously restores HP to allies within it. Every second HP equal to 110% of Jady’s ATK is restored. Lasts 6 seconds.
• Pollen – Target the lowest HP ally, restore HP equal to 90% of Jady’s ATK every second while also removing Poison effects.
• Sweet Dreams – Target the furthest enemy, deal 200% of ATK as Magic Damage, and causing Sleep for 4 seconds. The target will awaken if damaged.
• Nature’s Veil – Enemies that attack Jady have their ATK and Attack Speed reduced by 2% for 6 seconds. Can stack up to 5 times.

 

Unlocking new Guardians

Guild of Guardians players can get both Jadey and Callisto through a number of ways including the sacrificing of prayers at the Altar of Sacrifice or going through the secondary marketplaces where other players have listed these Guardians up for sale. But the simplest way is through the use of summoning crystals that can be received as loot or reward throughout the game.

You can also get these two characters or other Guardians through in-game items known as Prayers

 

You can also purchase these prayers at Eri’s store as NFTs but are available in extremely limited numbers and at a limited time only.

Standard Prayers will allow players to get Jadey after 50 sacrifices at the Altar of Sacrifice while Chroma Prayers will let you get Jadey or Callisto after just two sacrifices at the altar.
