The Winter Soldier is joining Marvel’s Avengers game via patch 2.7

Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier is joining Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers game starting with patch 2.7

There will be two patches coming for the game from Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics. The first upcoming patch, 2.6 will be called Villain Sector and will continue the story of AIM as they try to get MODOK back online after the ending of the game’s main campaign. Patch 2.7 will be the patch that introduces us to the Winter Soldier as he goes on a campaign mission for the game. There’s also report that suggest that Bucky here will be coming out with his own move set which should be interesting to see especially if there’s any symmetry between his and Captain America’s moves in the game.

We earlier reported that Mighty Thor aka Jane Foster will also be added in the game to coincide with the release of Thor: Love and Thunder but we’ve yet to see any movement on that end.

Its rather really slow how they churn out playable characters for the game. To enumerate here are the new characters we got since the game launched some time ago.
