RUMOR: Assassin’s Creed game, Assassins Creed Rift set in Baghdad also being developed
I recently posted about a possible Assassin’s Creed game set during the Aztec period in world history and while that has not yet been confirmed, there’s another rumor popping around about an AC game set in Baghdad which spins directly from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
So the gist of this new rumor is that the game titled Assassin’s Creed Rift will be set in Baghdad and will star the character Basim.
Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier reports that the next AC game would actually be AC Rift.
Yesterday, Ubisoft said in addition to Avatar it's delayed a "smaller unannounced premium game." That game is Assassin's Creed Rift, Bloomberg News has confirmed, bumped from February to spring. Leaves Ubisoft with an anemic lineup for this fiscal year https://t.co/l8isA17bUm

He adds that the game will be smaller in scale and will also be different from the Assassin’s Creed Infinity which is described as a gigantic game which is supposed to be a multiplayer game that spans from different eras of world history.
Assassin’s Creed Rift is also going to be focused more on stealth gameplay heavily which is something I want to get to play in an Assassin’s Creed game.
The Schreier also states that AC Rift will be announced or released around 2023 or as early as the later part of 2022. We can also expect the game to be officially revealed during the September Ubisoft Forward presentation which could be going online.
