#PokemonFunDayAtSM begins this January 31 at SM North EDSA, Supersized Pokemon Event goes on tour in SM malls nationwide
Pokemon fans of all ages are in for a great surprise with SM Malls bringing the beloved global media juggernaut with a supersized Pokemon event set to tour in SM Malls nationwide with #PokemonFunDayAtSM.
The event was officially opened with the presence of SM Supermalls Group Head – executive Vice President Joaquin L. San Augstin, The Pokemon Company Asia Business Development Corporate Officer Susumu Fukunaga, Animation International Philippines Director Tsutomu Kondo and RUNRIO Inc. President and CEO Rio Dela Cruz.
SM Supermalls and The Pokemon Company have come together to bring the Pokemon Fun Day at SM Malls around the country starting with SM North EDSA from January 31 to February 13 which will feature everything people love with the Pokemon franchise the event’s centerpiece, a six meter tall Pikachu inflatable.
Fans can expect a number of attractions in supersized Pokemon event space including a free Pokemon Trading Card Game or Pokemon TCG tutorial area…
There’s also a designated area for officially licensed Pokemon merchandise like toys and apparel…
And a Pokemon video game demo area including the most recent games you can get on the Nintendo Switch
Lucky fans and visitors can also get the chance to take a selfie with a Pikachu mascot that will be making appearances in the event space at various times during both weekdays and weekends.

Plus there are tons of small statues you can take selfies with of various Pokemons especially the current generation starters.

Catch the Pokemon exhibit at various SM Malls in Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Iloilo and Davao from January 2025 to October 2025.
For Pokemon fanboys and fangirls who are also running enthusiasts, there’s also the Pokemon Run that is slated for February 9, 2025 at the SM Mall of Asia Complex. This event will be organized by RUNRIO Inc and is open to people of all ages with race distances ranging from 10K, 5K, 3K and 1K.
