Marvel Legends Nemesis Wave official images

Hasbro has released some official images for the upcoming Marvel Legends Genesis Build a Figure wave which will be hitting stores this week.

The wave will feature the Age of Apocalypse version of the mutant Genesis together with a collection of mutant-centric wave of action figures.

This wave will consist of:

Cyclops

This Cyclops looks interesting because Hasbro added a new optic beam and we also have an angry face sculpt for the X-Men’s leader.

Marrow

After Maggot from the Bonecrusher wave, we have the early 2000s Marrow, the young mutant who led Gene Nation and was later forced to join the Xavier School to reform and learn about being an X-Man.

Husk

We also get some nice Generation X representation here with Paige Guthrie aka Husk. The younger sister of New Mutants and X-Force member, Husk was one of the original Gen X members whose powers involve peeling their skin into any element which might come in handy in melee battles.

Fabian Cortez

For this wave we have villain and its the Acolyte Fabian Cortez. In the comics, he has the mutant ability to supercharge mutants so he was a big help to Magneto when he was working together with him. Not much accessories for this guy and I’m sensing we could be seeing more Acolyte mutant characters down the line.

Age of Apocalypse Gambit

It also looks like Marvel Legends isn’t done with the Age of Apocalypse as we will be getting AoA Gambit this time. Too bad his and Rogue’s relationship in that timeline fizzled out since she married Magneto but at least he got to lead A team for a short while.

Age of Apocalypse X-Force Nightcrawler

During Rick Remender’s run on the Uncanny X-Force, he reintroduced the AoA Nightcrawler who temporarily joined the team. This violent version of the teleporting mutant stuck in the 616 and joined Wolverine as they hunt down Age of Apocalypse mutants who escaped in that reality.

We will also be getting the now classic Ultimate Wolverine figure.

Ultimate Wolverine

This one I will automatically get since we’ve barely had any Ultimate X-Men figures based on Mark Millar’s run on the book. The team’s costume is just pretty much just black costumes but they are still pretty nice to pose around with.
