Marvel releases new Captain America: Brave New World poster and trailer
Marvel Studios has released a new Captain America: Brave New World poster and trailer which stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson and Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross aka the Red Hulk.
The poster plays off on what we saw in the first Captain America: Brave New World trailer where we briefly saw Ford’s Thunderbolt Ross transforming into the Red Hulk and attacking the new Captain America, Sam Wilson in public. In this poster, we see the Red Hulk or Rulk’s arm coming down on Captain America’s shield with such a huge impact that it causes sparks to fly.

The trailer gives us more context on what’s happening to Sam Wilson as he continues the legacy left behind by Steve Rogers and is caught in a deadly game that pits him against the newly appointed President of the United States, Thunderbolt Ross. We’re seeing a subplot of Carl Lumbly’s Isaiah Bradley doing the “Winter Soldier” routine and trying to assassinate the POTUS which ultimately got him arrested. We’re also seeing a little bit more of Tim Blake Nelson’s “The Leader” pulling the strings and orchestrating this terror plot. And yes, we get to see Harrison Ford’s CGI Red Hulk.
Captain America: Brave New World is directed by Julius Onah and stars Anthony Mackie, Liv Tyler, Giancarlo Esposito, Rosa Salazar, Harrison Ford, Tim Blake Nelson, Shira Haas, Carl Lumbly, Danny Ramirez and more. The film is scheduled for release February 2025.
