Xiaomi October Launch Event – Xiaomi SU7 Ultra

Xiaomi held one of its most important domestic launch events of the year, officially introducing Xiaomi SU7 Ultra to Mainland China.

As Xiaomi’s top-performance EV, Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is built to offer the ultimate driving experience, combining top-tier performance, technology, and handling, making it uniquely suited for both street and track driving. It features the same triple-motor system and track-edition high-power battery as the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra prototype, reaching a maximum horsepower of 1548 PS. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes just 1.98 seconds (Without one-foot rollout), and boasts a top speed of 350 km/h, making it the fastest four-door production car worldwide. Additionally, the top-notch braking system achieves 100 km/h braking at a distance of 30.8m to a complete stop. Xiaomi SU7 Ultra also features a racetrack-tuned chassis system, which provides superior control and a higher handling threshold. This makes it a road-legal four-door car that’s track-ready straight from the factory.

Designed for Ultra Driving

The design of Xiaomi SU7 Ultra focuses on peak performance and enhanced driving experience with upgraded luxury features. Building on Xiaomi SU7 Max, SU7 Ultra adds an aerodynamic kit with increased dimensions for an extended, lower profile and a more aggressive stance. The dimensions are 5115mm in length, 1970mm in width, 1465mm in height, and a wheelbase of 3000mm.

At the front, SU7 Ultra features a large front splitter and air dam paired with “U-shaped” air blades, effectively boosting front downforce. The intake grille has been expanded, increasing cooling area by 10%. At the rear, an active rear diffuser with two adaptive settings balances drag and downforce, ensuring low energy consumption in regular driving. A fixed carbon-fiber rear wing has been added, with a wingspan of 1560mm and a chord length of 240mm, providing significant downforce at high speeds. Thanks to this advanced aerodynamic design, Xiaomi SU7 Ultra achieves a maximum downforce of 285kg, comparable to supercar-level performance.

Xiaomi SU7 Ultra interior offers a sports car feel, upgraded seats, and a steering wheel design. It features new sports seats with enhanced active side bolster support, providing faster response and a wider support area for better body stability during intense driving. The steering wheel has a new racing-style flat top and bottom design, made with upgraded carbon fiber and wrapped in Alcantara®️ microfiber fabric for a secure grip. A yellow center marker at the 12 o’clock position aids directional control during high-speed maneuvers. Paired with yellow seatbelts and a red Boost button on the steering wheel, Xiaomi SU7 Ultra interior is packed with a racing spirit.

Peak Performance: World’s Fastest Production Four-Door Car — 1548 PS, 0-100 km/h in 1.98s, Top Speed of 350 km/h

As Xiaomi’s high-performance flagship vehicle, Xiaomi SU7 Ultra features the same power system as the prototype, delivering an exceptional performance experience. As the basis for Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, Xiaomi SU7 Prototype completed its lap speed challenge on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, achieving a time of 6’46″874 and thereby breaking the seven-year-old fastest four-door car lap record at the Nürburgring on October 28, 2024.

Xiaomi SU7 Ultra achieves a maximum horsepower of 1548 PS and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds (Without a one-foot rollout), ranking first globally among production four-door cars. It also accelerates from 0 to 200 km/h in only 5.86 seconds and has a top design speed of 350 km/h, making it the fastest four-door production car in the world as of today.

Xiaomi SU7 Ultra’s triple motor system implements two V8s motors and one V6s motor. This marks the debut of Xiaomi’s self-developed V8s super motor to production vehicles. The V8s motor reaches a maximum rev of 27,200 rpm, currently the highest and most powerful production main drive motor. Xiaomi EV is committed to research, development, and innovation, with 242 patents filed in electric motors and electric power control units.

Peak Sensory Experience: Unique Cockpit UI, Electric Sport Sound, and Track Master App

To match its peak performance and chassis system, Xiaomi SU7 Ultra offers an entirely new visual and auditory experience and exclusive apps designed for racetracks.

The UI on the central control screen, instrument panel, and HUD have been upgraded, featuring a cockpit-exclusive design that enhances the sporty atmosphere. Xiaomi SU7 Ultra offers three new Electric Sport Sound profiles: Ultra Electric, Ultra Sonic, and Ultra Pulse, along with a 40W external speaker for enhanced sound projection.

Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is Xiaomi EV’s ultimate driving machine, designed for those who aspire to peak performance, exhilarating experiences, and going beyond the ordinary. It’s street and track-ready—a luxury sedan with sophistication and cutting-edge technology perfect for daily use while having the peak technical capabilities to hit the track at top speed.
