Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Review
Here’s my Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Review which is now out in stores and online with SRP P14,990 and available in leading stores as well as on online platforms!
Design
This version of the Galaxy Buds looks like an upgrade from the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro from the look alone.
The Buds 3 Pro’s new case design makes it a lot more convenient to see whether the buds are there or not. We’ve all had the experience of just putting away our earbuds and then suddenly jumping up in fear of misplacing them and you have to open the case just to make sure. With the clear top design on the new case, you know it’s there and that saves you some unwarranted anxiety issues.
The case is built to be compact and tough which I really love especially when hitting the road for some nice morning jog or spending some time in the gym.
The actual buds are pretty good in terms of design and handling. While its more on the plastic side rather than the matte finish, it still looks great and dare I say far superior to its fruity competitor. It’s also lighter than the previous version with the stem design taking more of the weight rather than your ear. This results in superior comfort during usage.
Having a lighter pair of earbuds means that you get to enjoy it longer without having the remove them periodically to let your ears “rest”. The stem design or as they call it “blades” also saves you from plugging the earbuds deeper since it’s anchored through the aforementioned stem.
Bluetooth Pairing and Connectivity
Connecting the earbuds to any device whether it’s part of the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem or not, is easier with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro thanks to the Bluetooth button, you can conveniently connect to your Galaxy S24 Ultra or just about any android device or even your laptop.
Best Features – Voice Control
If there’s anything that worked extremely well amongst the new features for this product, it would have to be the smart and seemless voice control. Things like “volume up”, “volume down”, “next track” and “answer call” can efficiently help you with your daily tasks.
Then there’s also the “Voice Detect” feature which intuitively actives the “ambient mode” when it detects that you are speaking to somebody. When this kicks in, you’ll hear the earpods go into ambient mode where you can hear your surroundings but it won’t go and pause but rather just turn the notch a little bit down to still have clear conversations.
Basic Controls
Basic controls for this are the one’s I’m really happy with. Remember the stem and those “blades” I told you earlier? Well those aren’t just for fancy lights and flexing they are also used for a bunch of other functions including volume control through a sliding motion. Then if you want to pause whatever’s playing, you simply have to “pinch” the blades to either: change the ambient control or pause whatever’s playing.
Lighting
Another great feature is the lighting. Yes, these earbuds light up and you can find on the side of the stem. Its a nice feature especially when you find yourself jogging or hiking in the dark and you want to be seen. My only gripe? You can’t customize the colors. It’s just stuck in the color white. But honestly, if you want to flex these earbuds, then this feature is the best for you.
Sound
I love the sound quality of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro with it’s strong bass and treble. You can really hear the difference between the bass and the other elements especially when it comes to hip-hop tracks and rock tracks and that’s because of the Hi-Fi sound that uses an enhanced 2-way speakers
Through this earbuds, you actually get to hear the distinction of each part of the melody i.e. the drums and the guitars are clear. This makes listening to music a lot better as you feel everything that’s happening during the track. As a music lover, I will always look for high quality music while going through my daily activities and the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro gives me that power and I’m definitely sure it would do the same for you.

Voice calls
We’ve discussed the leisure side of things but what about the business or the more work-related side of things? I’m happy to say for this Galaxy Buds 3 Pro review that it passes with flying colors as well. These earbuds provide clear calls whether it’s a meeting on Zoom or Google Meet.
There’s actually a deeper science behind the improved quality of voice calls for the Galaxy Buds3 Pro but in the simplest form I can write down it’s this – the Galaxy AI has been programed to learn after several uses the ambient noise as well as recognize the user’s voice patterns. Then during calls, it real time separates the noise around you and your actual voice and that’s what makes your voice clearer during calls.
