Absolute Batman # 2 Previews reveal the Absolute Batmobile

As we eagerly await more content for the upcoming issue of Absolute Batman, I am totally hyped up with the preview pages for Absolute Batman # 2 by Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta as we continue this version of Batman and even get to see the debut of the Absolute Batmobile.

But the biggest kicker here would be the look of the new Batmobile for this version of Batman.

And I love that this version of Batmobile is a reflection of Batman is as it’s a huge, hulking monster that topples and crushes anything and everything in front of it. It’s just like Batman who will beat up anybody that stands on his way. Just like that big guy who felt the Bat-Axe and lived to see the day.

It’s also still on-brand with this version of Batman who is clearly being built up like the Joker with limited resources and everything stacked against him. Remember that time the Joker clearly didn’t have enough funds but still run around with a Jokermobile?

Plus it also makes sense that Batman’s Batmobile looks like a rejected Constructicon unit because in this version of the DC Universe, he’s a civil engineer and he’s very much used to working on construction sites which he also converts into mini bases of operations until Alfred Pennyworth discovers his MO and tried to kill him back in Issue 1.
