Sparkle issues official statement on Julie Ann San Jose’s viral video

Julie Ann San Jose got mixed reactions after videos of her performance inside a church went viral.

Since then, the Kapuso actress and talent had apologized for the guffaw as well as the parish priest and her agency, GMA’s Sparkle Artist Center. Check out what they wrote below.

So it looks like it was an oversight on their end and they did not bother to check where the performance was going to be held.

The whole thing drew the ire and “inis” of many Catholic fans and netizens who deemed the performance as “disrespectful” to the Roman Catholic religion.

San Jose has apologized online for this (but certainly not on her performance which was pretty good if I can say so myself).
