Uncanny X-Men # 2 Spoilers – The Mystery mutant hunter and it’s ties to Charles Xavier

Uncanny X-Men # 2 spoilers time! We look at one of the bigger things happening behind the scenes and its connection to Charles Xavier.

So in the midst of Rogue’s team getting some new students and setting up their base of operations in Louisiana, we are also looking into that mysterious mutant hunting thing that took a mutant girl in Uncanny X-Men # 1 and apparently SHE has ties to Charles Xavier.

In Uncanny # 1, we see “mommy” abduct this teen mutant in the woods and we assumed that she was killed or eaten by the creature but it turns out that’s not the case. She’s actually a bounty hunter of sorts working for the new bad guys for the series and the same people who have taken over the Xavier School and turned it into a secret prison for mutants. It’s the same place that will bring in both Rogue’s Uncanny team and Cyclops’ X-Men team to save a friend that’s been captured and held there.

Now by the end of issue of Uncanny X-Men, we get to see the creature called “Sarah” delivering the young mutant.

And apparently Sarah was the first girl that actually showed interest to Charles Xavier before he became Professor X and was just a student. We event see a flashback of their first meeting is issue # 2.

Is Sarah the monster the same Sarah that flirted and could potentially be Xavier’s first girlfriend? What role will she play in the future of the X-Men books?
