Emily Armstrong is new Linkin Park co-vocalist

Meet Emily Armstrong, the new co-vocalist for Linkin Park who was recently introduced to the public.

Armstrong hails from the band Dead Sara and will be sharing the stage with Mike Shinoda.

The band will also welcome Colin Brittain as drummer who has worked with bands like One OK Rock, G Flip and Illenium in the past. So the new lineup would consist of Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix, and Joe Hahn together with Brittain and Armstrong.

On top of announcing the new lineup, the band has also released a new single titled “The Emptiness Machine”. This would be the first new music the band has released in seven years. The track of course will be the carrier sintle for the band’s new album From Zero, set for release on Friday, November 15th via Warner Records. The last album Linkin Park released was One More Light that came out in 2017, this was also the last album that had Chester Bennington.

According to reports, the band is also scheduled to do a six-date arena tour with shows in Los Angeles, New York, Hamburg, London, Seoul, and Bogota.

Some Controversies

But it looks like Armstrong may have some controversies also surrounding her namely her friendship with convicted rapist and former “That 70’s Show” star Danny Masterson.

There was also her involvement with the Church of Scientology where she was even spotted in one of the sect’s big events which you can check HERE.

But what do you think? I have heard LP’s new song and I thought it was good but I’m still waiting for a banger track that will cement her status with the band and put some goodwill with fans who are still not over the death of Chester Bennington as well as those so-called fans who are up-in-arms with the selection just because she’s a woman (boo you guys, it’s already 2024 stop thinking like cavemen).
