FB content creator Ilead offers apology to Mon Confiado after copypasta meme, saya Pinoys don’t get meme culture

Facebook content creator Ilead has released a statement regarding the recent heat the page has generated from Filipino Facebook users after the page posted a copypasta meme which featured veteran Filipino actor Mon Confiado.

Above you’ll see the collated screenshots but below you’ll read screenshots of the statement. And it’s screenshot because at anytime the page might delete the post.

Towards the end of the statement the page also stated that Filipinos are not equipped for “International meme culture” whatever the hell that is. Honestly though, that’s a flimsy excuse, that could have been completely removed from the statement. Here’s a tip though, that whole “Pinoys arent’ equipped for meme culture” could be an entire content farm and clout as well.

The original story stemmed from Mon Confiado’s post where he called foul in being part of the copypasta meme where it’s a story that shows Confiado in a bad light.
