Absolute Superman # 1 teasing different kind of Superman

Jason Aaron has revealed more details for the upcoming Absolute Superman book he is writing together with artist Rafa Sandoval.

Here’s what he wrote on Twitter.

No Fortress. No family. No home.

Get ready for a daring new vision of the Last Son of Krypton.

I’m writing, with art by Rafa Sandoval and colors by Ulises Arreola.

ABSOLUTE SUPERMAN #1 is coming November 6.

From what I also understand this is also a universe that has been infused with Darkseid’s essence or energy giving that world a tougher vibe. This also pushes the heroes to assume a more underdog persona.

Also take note that this isn’t a reboot like what DC did before with the New 52. It’s definitely more like the Ultimate Universe from Marvel.

Anyway it looks interesting and Aaron is a capable writer so it should be a fun ride.
