Deadpool and Wolverine Final Trailer brings back a very familiar part of Wolverine’s Life

Marvel Studios has released the Deadpool and Wolverine final trailer and they brought back a familiar face that’s familiar to Wolverine’s life!

So the new trailer proceeds to play scenes we’ve already seen in past trailers and footage including appearances of villains like Ray Park’s Toad and Tyler Mane’s Sabretooth and continues until we find out that the whole time Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is actually talking to someone by a campfire and as the camera zooms out…

It is revealed to be Laura Kinney aka X-23 (Dafne Keene) all grown up…

You will also recall that the last time we saw Laura was back in James Mangold’s Logan where she went on a cross-country journey with Logan to find a sanctuary for other kids who have pretty much become the last few mutants in that reality. And during that adventure Wolverine met his match and his end at the end of the younger and far stronger “X-24”. It was also Laura who ends up burying her “father” and leads the rest of the mutants to a safer haven as the film’s final moments focused on Wolverine’s grave.

Check out the trailer below:

This is played off as an emotional moment and probably happening towards the climax of the movie as evidenced by Logan’s lack of sleeves on his yellow and blue costume. What’s mysterious right now is the absence of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool aka Wade Wilson. Where is that guy? What happened to him? I’m betting either they got separated or Logan survived an attack which sees Wade getting captured by Emma Corrin’s Cassandra Nova.

Also we finally get to see a full look at the mysterious Lady Deadpool and there is still no clue on whether she is Taylor Swift or Blake Lively, the two obvious candidates and heavily hinted at personalities for the role. Personally I would flip if this was Taylor Swift.
