Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto officially happening

IDW Publishing has announced a crossover we were not expecting. A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto crossover book.

Today we got a nice look at an art for the book which features the four Ninja Turtles namely Leonardo, Raphael, Michaelangelo and Donatello in the rooftops of Naruto’s village aka The Hidden Leaf Village.

We can also see a younger Naruto together with the TMNT. This could be a hint that the story could be set in the first part of the story back when Uzumaki Naruto was still a scrappy ninja student who kept claiming he would become a Hokage.

And if you’re wondering if the Turtles are out of place with the insane powers in the world of Naruto, you need to watch Rise of the Ninja Turtles which even gave us a Raphael with astral armor like the X-Men’s Hisako Ichiki aka Armor.

No word yet when this crossover would hit pre-orders but I’m definitely getting for the covers.
