Rumored Avengers Earth’s Mightest Heroes Season 3 episode details reveals X-Men Crossover and More!

A reddit post recently came up citing Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes‘ writer Christopher Yost on episode breakdowns for what could have been the Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes season 3 and it is bonkers including stuff like the Dark Phoenix and a whole lot more!

• S3E01 STRANGE TALES As Surtur releases an army of demons on Earth, the Avengers find themselves facing their worst fears… trapped within the realm of NIGHTMARE! Up against an enemy they can’t fight, the team turns to the only person who can help: Dr. Strange!
• S3E02 THE GENTLEMAN’S NAME IS MAGNETO Magneto wages war against humanity, bringing his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants into conflict with the Avengers… but what side are Magneto’s children the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver on?
• S3E03 RECURRING KNIGHTMARE Iron Man and Doctor Doom are pulled through time to ancient CAMELOT, finding themselves uneasy allies against Modred the Mystic. And back in the present, the Wasp’s only hope to get Iron Man back is the BLACK KNIGHT.

• S3E25 HOUSE OF M (2) With Magneto and Quicksilver leading the mutants in possession of the shattered Phoenix Force, the Scarlet Witch chooses sides. The Avengers and remaining X-Men are on the run from the all powerful House of M. What hope does humanity have?
• S3E26 AVENGERS WORLD It’s the Avengers and X-Men versus the fury of the Dark Phoenix! The chilling nature of the Scarlet Witch’s true power is revealed as reality itself breaks. Will either team survive?

So obviously this never made it past writing and we’ll never see the drawing board. And while I’d like to think that this is already a dead project or a dead title, just a few years ago we were in awe that Marvel suddenly brought back the X-Men Animated Series with X-Men 97 season 1. So I’m still hoping we get another season.

What’s also interesting ehre is that we are branching wildly into the bigger Marvel universe with these stories. It feels like viewers could get easily lost with so much characters and backstories. I mean I thoroughly enjoyed the show’s take on Secret Invasion limiting the whole thing to a few main episodes but running on the side throughout the season. Now with the episodes supposedly done by Yost, it feels like its just a who’s who of Marvel characters appearing.
