BINI and ABS-CBN Management issue statement over recent disrespectful acts

The nation’s girl group BINI and their management has released a statement following the recent slew of disrespectful and misguided acts done to the members of BINI namely Maloi and Aiah.

This particular statement however was directed towards the actions done by a supposed fan who tried to kiss Bini Aiah during a public appearance.

ABS-CBN management has called any untoward acts against women including their talents as sexual harassment.

The statement did not how ever state what they plan to do with the person who tried to kiss the young lady instead opting to remind people about maintaining personal space as well as their privacy.

The statement ended with a warning that they will take necessary steps to ensure that their talents are taken care of.

And I cannot stress enough to keep your grubby mitts off peoplr especially if you don’t have their consent to touch them. It’s simple respect to human beings and simple respect to women.

And I also saw a lot of comments justifying these ugly actions as being part of the price for their fame. To that I say fuck no. No matter how famous a person is, nobody has the right to touch them without permission or consent.
