Olivia Munn shares her breast cancer treatment and reveals double mastectomy procedure

Attack of the Show host and X-Men: Apocalypse star Olivia Munn had recently shared a life update as she went public about getting diagnosed with breast cancer.

The actress posted a long story about her experience and her fight against breast cancer. She revealed that she had a normal mammogram but two months later, she got the diagnosed with cancer.

She also revealed that she had four surgeries in under ten months where she was also bed-ridden.

It’s also scary to learn that she was diagnosed with Luminal B cancer which she describes as “an aggressive, fast moving cancer”. She did feel lucky that she and her doctors found the cancer before it got worse. The thing is, the surprising thing is that she went ahead and went a double mastectomy which lasted 10-hours.

In the same post, she also shared a couple of photos of her at the hospital before undergoing the procedure.

Lisa Olivia Munn was born July 3, 1980 and started her career as host for G4 where she gained immense popularity as host of “Attack of the Show” which ran from 2006 to 2010. She also appeared in The Daily Show with John Stewart from 2010 to 2011. She also played Sloan Sabbith in HBO’s The Newsroom which was created by Aaron Sorkin. In terms of films she made appearances in Hollywood pictures like Iron Man 2 (2010) and X-Men: Apocalypse (2016).
