Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League releases evil Justice League Posters

DC Comics and Rocksteady Games has released a bunch of new posters for the brainwashed Justice Leaguers who would also be the game’s bosses

The game is currently being developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. According to DC Comics, this would be a direct sequel to Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight and will follow the members of Task Force X aka the Suicide Squad which includes Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark. The group is deployed by Amanda Waller to Metropolis to stop the villain Brainiac while at the same time assassinating the Justice League.

The game is set as an open-world adventure game where players can either go solo or work with other players to roam around Metropolis.

The game was revealed back in August 2020 and was originally planned for release back in 2022 but multiple delays in the production has moved the project to February 2024. The game also marks as the last game that Kevin Conroy worked on before his passing on November 10, 2022. It was recently revealed that the game developers even made a tribute in-game not just for the fallen Batman voice actor but also for Arleen Sorkin, who originally voiced Harley Quinn when she first appeared in “Batman: The Animated Series”

In a recent interview with Eurogamer, the game’s director  Axel Rydby spoke highly about Kevin and Arleen’s impact for the project.

“It was very emotional for all of us in the entire studio, it was so sad when he passed,” said Rydby. “I think it’s hard to overstate how important he’s been to Batman as a character and the depiction of Batman. We were all really sad when it happened and we wanted it to be as much of a tribute as we could make it in the game.

“His performance as Batman in this game is stellar, as always. But he’s taken Batman to a new place, I think in this game, where he’s an older character. We know that Mr. Conroy really enjoyed his performance in the game and that was important to us that it felt like he liked what we were doing with the character as well.”
